Security Enhancements

This time, Adobe has done a lot of work on the security part of Magento. Magento version 2.4.4 has been released with some important security improvements, including:

  • Session IDs are no longer store in the Magento database.
  • Password reset tokens and OAuth access tokens are now encrypted when stored in the database.
  • Google reCAPTCHA support for the coupon codes in this release.
  • The Use Secure URLs on Storefront and Use Secure URLs in Admin settings are enabled by default.
  • In production mode, Swagger is now disabled by default in Magento Open Source.

  • All the project dependencies and libraries compatible with PHP 8.1.
  • Magento 2.4.4 version supports

Issues Fixed in Magento 2.4.4 Release

  • Navigation accessibility issues have been fixed on the Magento cart page and checkout page.
  • This item has weight select input on the Catalog > Product details page and now has visible labels and an accessible name
