A transactional email is an email that is sent to the user regarding a particular action on a website.
We are going to create a transactional email for the newsletter with the help of flow builder, where when user signup for the newsletter they will receive an email for the confirmation to receive the newsletter regularly. To configure the transactional email on shopware 6. Please follow the below steps.
Step 1:- Login to the admin panel and go to Settings > Shop > Flow Builder
Step 2:- Click on the Add flow button, to create a new flow.
Step 3:- In the General section, fill the required fields.
General information
- Name: Enter the name of the flow builder.
- Description: Enter a description of the flow builder.
- Priority: If you have several flows that use the same trigger, you can specify which flow should be processed first.
- Active: You can use this switch to activate or deactivate the flow.
Step 4:- Now in the Flow section, you can specify which actions are triggered by a trigger. In addition, you have the option of defining conditions for these actions, under which the actions are to be executed.
Step 5:- On the Trigger section, select the Newsletter / Sign-up option.
Now click on the Add action (THEN) button.
And select the Send email action and configure the Send email settings.
- Use different reply-to addresses:- You can choose the Default and Custom recipient options in this section.
- Default:- If you choose this option, emails are sent from the shop owner’s email address.
- Custom recipient:- You can add the custom recipient email address here.
- Recipient:- Choose the customer option in this section.
- Email template:- Select the newsletter email template here.

Step 6:- Click on the Add action to save this action.
Step 7:- Click on the Save button to save this flow.
Now if user signup for the newsletter they will receive the confirmation email.
