To create multiple currencies in shopware 6 follow the below steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Admin panel and go to the settings > shop > Currencies.

Step 2: Click on the Add Currencies button, to create a new currency.

Step 3: Fill in the required fields on the Settings section.

  1. Name Write the name of the currency. Eg:- US Dollar

2. ISO code: Add the ISO code of your currency. Eg:- USD.

3. Short name: Add the short name of your currency, like USD. The short name must consist of three letters.

4. Symbol: Add the symbol of the currency. Eg: $ (dollar).

5. Conversion factor: Add the conversion factor of your currency. The factor is defined by the system’s standard currency.
When assigned, this factor converts the stored values of the system standard currency by using the factor.

6. Tax-free from: In this field, If the shopping cart total is higher than the value set in “Tax-free from”, the whole shopping cart will be tax-free.

Step 4: In the Price rounding section, you can define the price in the shopping cart. Fill in the required fields to add the prices.

Items:

  1. Decimal: You have to enter a number (Eg. 2) to indicate the decimal point. The decimal should be taken into account in the calculation in the shopping basket.

2. Interval: You can define how the further decimal places should be rounded. For example, you can take into account markets where the minimum unit of account is smaller than the lowest physical denomination of currency.

3. Round for net customer: If you enable this option it will apply for the specified rounding position for the net customers too.

4. Grand total: You can make the settings 1-3 again for the grand total amount of the shopping cart.

Note: After filling all the required fields. Save the currency and the Countries section will be available. And we can add the different price rounding settings for individual countries.

Step 5: Click on Add Country to set the different price rounding settings.

Step 6: Enter the required field.

  1. Country: Select the country for which different price rounding settings.
  2. Price Rounding: You can make different price rounding settings here for the items as well as for the total amount of the shopping cart.

Now to show the currency in the frontend which we created.

Step 5: Click on your Sales channels and on the Payment and shipping section select the currency Dollar.

Step 6: Go to the Domain section and click on the Add domain button, to create a new one.

Step 7: Enter the following fields to create a new domain.

Step 8: Click on the “Add domain” button to add the Dollar currency in your shop.

  1. Url: Enter your language shop URL.
  2. Language: Select the language for this shop. Eg:- “English“.
  3. Currency: Choose the currency of this shop. Eg:- “Dollar
  4. Snippet: Select the snippet. Eg:- “BASE en-GB
  5. Hreflang localisation: Choose your localisation according to ISO standard or according to language.

Step 9: Click on the Save button of the Sales channel.
