Shopify Flow is a custom automation platform that you can use for different tasks and processes within the Shopify stores and across other apps. It watches over the shopify store for different events and lets you create different actions that are taken in response. You can automate different tasks and processes inside your store and across other apps by creating workflows with the help of triggers, conditions, and actions.
To use Shopify Flow, you need to install the Shopify Flow app first from the Shopify App Store. This app is free to use. Once the app installation is complete, you can create different automation and access the app from your Shopify admin.
To create an automation to send emails to the customers on different events, follow these steps:
- Firstly, log in to your admin.
- Then, Open the Shopify flow app. If you have not installed the Shopify Flow app, then install it first.
- Now, click the Create workflow button to start creating the workflow.
- Thereafter, click the Select a trigger button to select an event that will trigger the flow.
- Now, select an event that will trigger the flow from the interface on the right side.
- Once the trigger is selected, click the + button at “Then” and select a condition or an action. I have selected the “Product variant out of stock” as a trigger and “Send internal email” as an action.
- Then, enter the details of the staff who will receive the internal email for out-of-stock product variants.
- Now, click the Turn on workflow button and select “Turn on” from the popup to turn on the workflow.
Once you have turned on the workflow, the provided email will get a notification for all the Out-of-stock product variants. You can create other workflows by following the same processes. There are also pre-built templates available for creating the flows. You can use them easily for creating the flows.
