Bay20 did magento1 to magento2 Upgrade for store.rossmanngroup.com. Rossmanngroup is USA based premium provider of iphone/macbook repairs and parts. Recently, we have upgraded their store from magento1 to magento2. Lets go through the process in brief.
- Data Migration : We created a development setup with latest magento2. We migrated all data from magento1 to magento2.
- Theme Development : We developed a theme from scratch to match the design of magento1 with some improvements as per client`s requirements.
- Extensions : We installed all extensions and perform all needed customization.
- Configurations : We configure all important aspects like payment gateway, shipping etc.
- Testing : Most important phase of a project is testing. We performed cross browser and cross device testing.
- Delta Migration : Before putting store live we migrated all data which was created in store during development to make it upto date.
- Deployment : We move latest magento2 store on live and monitor.
